How do I login to my bluetiehome.com account on the web?

Please login at login.bluetiehome.com. After August 31st, you’ll no longer be able to login from login.excite.com.

Please enter your username from excite.com (everything before the @ symbol in your bluetiehome.com or excite.com email address)

Please use the password you had with Excite.com. If you do not recall your password, please click on the ‘forgot password’ here, or on the login.bluetiehome.com page.

How do I connect my mobile device and email client ( Outlook , MacMail, Thunderbird, etc.) to my bluetiehome.com account?

FYI, IMAP/POP service is only available for Premium subscriptions.

The exact settings differ on each device, but here are the server settings that you’ll need to add to your device:

Username: please use your full @bluetiehome.com email address for this field

Password: This is the password you’ve been using for your Excite.com account, but if you need to reset it, please click on the Forgot Password on the login.bluetiehome.com login page

Incoming server: imap.bluetiehome.com

Outgoing server: smtp.bluetiehome.com

The outgoing server requires authentication, so on you will either have to enter your full email address and password again, or there will be a box for you to check for ‘ outgoing server requires authentication’ or something to that affect. Even if it says ‘ OPTIONAL’ , you MUST enter your full email address and password! You will also want to check SSL/TLS for the server ports; please use the default ports that appear

Outgoing SSL/TLS port: 587

How do I forward my emails?

{Forwarding requires a Premium account.}
  • Log into your webmail account at login.bluetiehome.com
  • Click on Preferences
  • Under Email , click on Forwarding
  • Select Save and Close

Can I change my email address?

Yes. But you will need to upgrade to a Premium account and let our support know the email address that you would like. If the email address is available, we can add it for you. If you would like your own domain name ( @myname.com ), please contact our support here.
